Our client in the State College, PA area is growing and expanding and are seeking an experienced and energetic individual to build the business with them.  They are looking for a high energy, motivated individual who is looking for a responsible leadership position in a team-driven operation.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties

Seeking a person with broad hospitality experience to assist the COO/business owner with overseeing the daily operations and growth of the business.  This position will be built upon the strengths of the candidate but in general will include:

  • Oversee operations of restaurant, catering, banquets, and special event venue
  • Financial and administrative management
  • Technology improvements
  • Personnel management
  • Business growth and development
  • Marketing and branding

 

 

 

Requirements :

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in the restaurant industry and in supervising hospitality operations
  • Strong familiarization with food and beverage financial systems and controls
  • Computer & administrative skills, email, web, Word, Excel, POS systems
  • Understanding of fine dining foods, beverages and service; understanding of restaurants, bars, catering, and event venue operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and leadership skills
  • Dependable and reliable
