Description :

Our client in State College, PA area is searching for a temporary candidate that may lead to permanent with time.  This position provides both personalized and creative solutions for individuals who call or walk through our front door.  The individual is an extension of the firm and represents our brand in every way.  This a critical position in the firm as they are the first impression.  They must display the ability to be a creative thinker, exude enthusiasm, and be equipped with internal motivation to please anyone they are interacting with.  


Customer Service – needs the ability to meet and exceed clients’ expectations – interacts with client either by telephone, written, or in-person.  Greets all guests providing hospitality services such as taking coats, supplying refreshments, and escorting guests to appropriate conference room – setting the stage for client meetings.


Manage schedules and people – maintain wealth counselors schedules and remind clients of appointments – making travel plans that include car rentals or limousine service, booking airline, hotel reservations, events, and/or restaurants.


Marketing – responsible for content management on the firm’s website, and LinkedIn profile.  Collaboration with service providers on materials ensuring quality is always being displayed.  Maintain client distribution schedule for all communications.  Responsible for 401(k) marketing opportunities including onsite visit for delivery of information.  Event planning for client engagement and prospecting.  Regular attendance at local networking events such as, Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County events and others as deemed appropriate.


Multi-tasking skills – must multi-task while experience constant interruptions.  Manage general telephone and visitor inquiries, maintain appearance of lobby and conference rooms.


Service provider coordination – maintain relationships with service providers, handle supply orders, restocking consumables and sorting and distributing mail


Administrative Support – perform data entry, type correspondence, meeting notes / dictation, and reports, filing electronic documents, operating office equipment such as the multi-functional device and mail machine, etc.


Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree desired  

Ability to work well in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal skills, project a professional appearance, an energetic personality

Strong belief in client service and professionalism

Superior multi-tasking skills and excellent communication skills

Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
